Mrs. Sika Bella Kaboré, First Lady of Burkina Faso

Mrs. Kabore, is already very committed to supporting the IAC, and pursuing the advocacy and sensitization activities towards all target groups (Heads of State, politicians, parliamentarians, UN system, donors, communities, religious leaders…)


Mrs. Stella Obasanjo, Former First Lady of Nigeria

Commissioned by the IAC, the late Mrs. Stella Obasanjo, declared on behalf of the African First Ladies the proposition of having February 6 as Zero Tolerance Day for FGM, during the Zero Tolerance International Conference on FGM, on Feb 6 2003, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The IAC was tremendously honored to have Mrs Obasanjo as one of their goodwill ambassador and is grateful for all her contribution. We miss her greatly.




Mrs. Henriette Conté, Former First Lady of Guinea

Mrs. Compaore was also present during the launching of the Zero Tolerance Day on FGM. She deployed immeasurable efforts and contribution towards advocating to Heads of State and First Ladies.


Mrs. Chantal Compaoré, Former First Lady of Burkina Faso

Mrs. Conte participated to the launching of the Zero Tolerance Day, and also made considerable efforts in Guinea and other countries in Africa in the fight against HTPs with a focus on FGM.
